Inspired by a hobby on a small farm amidst tea gardens in Nuwara Eliya, 25 years ago, Granada has earned a reputation for quality and consistency in the food and hospitality industries in Sri Lanka and the Region.
Granada Suppliers now has clients in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, and actively trade in Asia, Australia, and the American Continent, giving customers access to the best products from the world’s best and largest producers. With Affiliate offices in Singapore and Thailand, Granada is well-positioned to offer the best value propositions to our growing international customers.
Our commitment to integrity ensures we stand by our customers through good times and bad, and have assisted many of our valued customers, producers and farmers mitigate the effects of the COVID 19 outbreak to a great extent, by starting an online Grocery Unit (Groceries by Granada), which was divested in 2021 September. This enabled Granada to re-focus on the core business of serving HORECA and FMCG customers both locally and overseas.

With more than 2 decades of experience working with top hotels, restaurants, airline caterers and food manufacturing factories, FMCG, and retail food products, we bring consistent quality, and value for money to customers, both retail and institutional, by following best practices to ensure food safety.
Fresh produce from Granada is processed in our own cold storage facility according to international food safety standards, having both FSSC2200 and HACCP certification from a prestigious SGS inspection agency.
We insist on the highest food safety standards when sourcing products from our overseas partners, and often go well above the industry and market-specific regulations in food safety.
Finally, our office and warehouse is a Covid safe environment (certified by COHS) and have made necessary changes to ensure the safety of team members and visitors.
